Impact Summary

A total number of 400 pupils and 10 teachers will benefit from this and these books will be beneficial for both tutors and the pupils. For the tutors, it will be as a resource material for research and teaching purposes and for the pupils it will enable them have access to more reading materials and research for their home activities.

Impact Report

City of Mercy Children’s Library, reading and writing clubs’ mission is to get every child to read with understanding, to be an intentional reader and at the same time have fun while reading, what makes my project different from others is we engage the students, we make them see the beauty in reading rather than see reading as a punishment.

I used to get books from Lagos which was tedious and expensive, because of that we had limited collections due to cost and distance, I need these books because it gives me opportunity to have more variety of books for children to access.

We have received a large number of children books which among them is a distinct number of mathematics which helped the students in numeracy and calculation. The books have a top notch quality which can be overemphasized.

A total number of 400 pupils and 10 teachers will benefit from this and these books will be beneficial for both tutors and the pupils. For the tutors, it will be as a resource material for research and teaching purposes and for the pupils it will enable them have access to more reading materials and research for their home activities.

I want to appreciate the Carmela and Ronnie Pignatelli foundation for this generous donation through Books2Africa, our prayers is for God to replenish them more and more, and this books will go a long way for the students.
