Impact Summary

Before having these books, our teachers had to walk 10km away from the school in search of a library but at a fee. This time, no hassles. Books are readily available.

The whole area has no library there depriving the community their right to education. And education cannot take place effectively where there is no library.

Overall improvement of education in the community. Teaching has being made simple due to availability of resource books. Students are now able to refer to books as one of their work.

Before having these books, our teachers had to walk 10km away from the school in search for a library but at a fee. This time, no hassles. Books are readily available 24/6.

Student performance has tremendously improved. Last years exams, our primary 8 passrate was 97%.

The community are now developing a reading culture thereby capable of assisting their children with school work.
