Impact Summary

Occupational therapy in Nigeria is attempting to take major steps into the future by engaging in various initiatives and projects to further equip the upcoming generation of students to be able to compete in the global industry while also improving healthcare services in Nigeria. These endeavours are only possible through the use of adequate educational materials and training facilities on par with their international counterparts, which Books2Africa Africa has helped to achieve this aim.

Impact Report

Occupational therapy in Nigeria is attempting to take major steps into the future by engaging in various initiatives and projects to further equip the upcoming generation of students to be able to compete in the global industry while also improving healthcare services in Nigeria. These endeavours are only possible through the use of adequate educational materials and training facilities on par with their international counterparts, which Books2Africa Africa has helped to achieve this aim.

This project aims to equip students with up to date knowledge of the occupational therapy industry, develop their English language knowledge and expose students to the same level of learning as students in the UK. Through this project, we also aim to increase the profile of the school in the Local area to arouse interest of this career to other young people and also raise the profile of occupational therapy as a rewarding career choice in Nigeria as it is a profession that is not accredited with its rightful position within the health care sector in Nigeria.

With the support received from Books2Africa, students are now able to have access to a better equipped learning environment, that enables them to be at par with their counterparts in other parts of the world.
