Impact Report
Graceville International School Library is a primary and nursery school book club, building and empowering future leaders through the impactation of christian value and quality education. The differences between our project and others is we encourage students to write books at tender age and not just read them, we have students who are of ages 5,6, and 7 who have written books and this we have built a habit whereby the students dont only read but also write their own books.
We were working on a library and put several efforts to ensure we stock the library but the inability to get books, I can remember we sometimes go for birthdays and asked parents of our students to donate books and some did which were very few and we couldnt fit in the library which was very scanty and havent heard about Books2Africa and about this donation these books will fit in perfectly for our library project.
We have received a large number of books from Books2Africa and I must say some of the books have been very helpful to our children especially the bible stories and English text which help some of our children in writing and reading.
We have a total of 200 children in our school, and 40 tutors which I believe they will benefit from these books and this will help our library be in top gear, the children will understand the rudiments of library usage and it will improve the school literacy and learning.
We want to really appreciate 10X10 philanthropy for this magnanimous donation through Books2Africa and we believe that these books will be put to good use by the students and the teachers at large.
