Impact Summary

Our library was limited due to the cost of books; we had few books in our library, and the children could not get books or read the way they wanted since books are important in keeping the students busy. Hence our need for more books so that these children could haver access to more resourceful materials that will keep them engaged in a more reading environment.

Impact Report

Kidron Montessori School is a primary school established in 2021. Our mission is to make sure the children have access to education and also to bring them up in a godly way so as to reduce deviance in the society. This makes our project unique because we try to encourage discipline amongst our pupils.

Our library was limited due to the cost of books; we had few books in our library, and the children could not get books or read the way they wanted since books are important in keeping the students busy. Hence our need for more books so that these children could haver access to more resourceful materials that will keep them engaged in a more reading environment.

We have received books in large quantity, a whole pallet of primary school books from Books2Africa. The quality of the books are excellent and cannot be found elsewhere in the country; the most useful will be mathematics, science collections and the storybooks.

These books will be beneficial to these children and also to the teachers in my school, to the students it will serve as a research tool for students’ assignments and also for the 16 teachers in the planning of lessons for the students. A total number of 200 students and 21 teachers will benefit from this project.

We really want to appreciate Allan and Nesta Ferguson Charitable Trust for these wonderful donations through Books2Africa. We really want to appreciate Books2Africa also for this kind gesture in selecting our institution for this donation, we pray that God should continue to bless you and your efforts, this thing will go a along way in years to come.
