Impact Summary

The impact of these books will be massive. We have the total number of 300 students in the school who will benefit from the books.

Impact Report

St. Theresa Girls’ College, Jos aims to give wholistic education to the girl child and equip her for life. We give them lunch after classes, we keep them to read and study, and they go home in the evening at 5:00 pm.

We have a modest but inadequate library, so much so that the external examination bodies when they came for re accreditation this year mandated the school to equip and enhance the library.

We have received some 5,000 books of different subjects matters including mathematics, history, literature, sciences: biology, chemistry, physics and many novels. We are very happy, delighted, and awestruck by the quality, variety, and quality of the books. This gift is an answered prayer for us as a school.

The impact of these books will be massive. We have the total number of 300 students in the school who will benefit from the books. We admit up to 60 students year in year out who will benefit from the books. Theresa are 38 teaching staff who will benefit from the books. The books will enrich their lesson planning and research.

We send our sentiment of appreciation to Coles-Medlock who donated the books and Books to Africa who made available to us.
