The Africa Stand
The Africa Stand (TAS) is a Books2Africa initiative that promotes the works and voices of African Publishers on a global stage. Each year, Books2Africa selects 12 African Publishers whose works are featured in the TAS Catalogue and showcased at the London Book Fair – the second largest international book fair in the world. Every year, we invite African Publishers to apply to be featured in The Africa Stand by completing our registration form.
Featured publishers receive the following:
Each publisher is highlighted with a two-page spread in the TAS Catalogue, including a company profile and available titles. Printed copies are distributed at the London Book Fair, while digital editions are shared with Books2Africa’s network of 12,000+ email subscribers and 100,000+ social media followers.
A curated selection of titles from each featured publisher is exhibited on a dedicated shelf within The Africa Stand at the London Book Fair—one of the world’s largest publishing events, drawing over 30,000 attendees, alongside the world’s leading publishers. Each featured publisher also receives a complimentary entry ticket.
Books2Africa can support with facilitating the logistics and fulfilment of bulk orders. We can also help arrange meetings with between featured publishers and their prospective partners during the London Book Fair.
To ensure the financial sustainability of The Africa Stand, each featured publisher is required to contribute £1,000 towards participation costs, which cover catalogue production, book fair exhibition, and year-round representation. To ensure that publishers are not excluded due to financial barriers, we welcome sponsors who can cover the contribution on their behalf.
Registration for TAS 2026 close on 30 November 2025.
