Impact Summary

The books received from Books To Africa International, (although some of the books did not relate to the Ghana Education Service curricula), has helped a lot of pupils/learners to have access to supplementary reading materials, stimulated their reading habits, improved their vocabulary and diction, and an overall improvement in the learning of the English Language.

Impact Report

Most school children in the KEEA Municipality of the Central Region do not have access to libraries in their communities or adequate materials at school to stimulate their desire to read more and better. This unfortunate situation hinders their ability to excel in school and final exams, a spiral of decline, detriment to their future.

The books are helping learners to:

  1. build a strong vocabulary bank,
  2. improve their reading,
  3. improve their diction,
  4. cultivate the habit of reading, and
  5. acquire more knowledge from reading, which will help transform them into
    great future leaders
