Impact Summary

With the availability of these books, the institution now has an added advantage in the community as it’s impact is better felt. Community members who have wished to be part of this institution but for fear of their inability to meet the needs of required books to enable them succeed, can now register themselves knowing that the institution’s library is at their disposal.

Impact Report

The books received serve as research materials for both teachers and students. The books will also constitute a library where students in the community will use for reading this will improve on the reading and understanding skills of students, improve their knowledge on the different subject matter as well as improve on their academic performance.

These books have greatly improved the performance of students given that they now have a wider range of books to explore and understand different topics better. Assignments are done better and students read ahead of the teacher which makes understanding easier when the teacher gets to a topic that students had read ahead of time.

Teachers have become more conscious and serious; they take time to prepare and carryout online research before coming to class. This is because they are conscious of the fact that the students must have had an idea on what they are about to teach and may challenge them in class thanks to the institution’s library.

These books have changed the classroom environment positively. The teaching learning process has become more interactive as everyone tries to contribute ideas and defend his or her point based on what he or she understood from the books read.

The number of students who usually stay idle during free hours has drastically reduced as the students now have books to keep themselves busy and hence creating a calm environment suitable for learning.

With the availability of these books, the institution now has an added advantage in the community as its impact is better felt. Community members who have wished to be part of this institution but for fear of their inability to meet the needs of required books to enable them succeed can now register themselves knowing that the institutions library is at their disposal.
