Impact Report
We run a library at a no-fee school, where resources are few. The books we received have greatly increased the number of books we’re able to lend to children at the school. Thanks to the received books, we have been able to offer the children at the school more variety in their reading choice. Captain Underpants, Beast Quest, Diary of a Wimpy Kid, Horrid Henry, and Oxford Reading Tree books have been most useful for students/learners.
The school we work in is fed by the local community. Children are taking books home and reading to their siblings, they are also improving their reading skills. All of this increases the effect of literacy on the community.
