Impact Summary

Approximately 160 schools and institutions from the whole of Kenya benefited from this donation drive. They have improved the level of education in and around schools where the books were distributed.

Impact Report

The books were needed to be distributed amongst primary / secondary school and Library mainly in and around Nairobi but generally in Kenya.

The container was offloaded in Limuru and more than a thousand cartons were arranged in three classrooms which were empty. On first examination of the cartons, we were excited to find that all the books were new and published by Macmillan Publishers. The contents of the books revealed that most of them would be very much useful to the schools in Kenya.

Approximately 160 schools and institutions from the whole of Kenya benefited from this donation drive. They have improved the level of education in and around schools where the books were distributed. The response to this noble project has been tremendous.

Responses from some of the receiving schools:

“The donated books will help the learners to uplift their academic standards thus bringing development in the entire village.”

“The books will go a long way in helping educate the pupils entrusted to us in a more better way.”

“We have no words that can express the joy of the needy pupils will have for the opportunity of owning and having a text book on the desk. The teaching staff are overwhelmingly grateful for they have been having a hard time teaching a class of 40 plus pupils with a maximum of 3 textbooks per subject, now this is an issue solved.”

“Your support with these books will help us continue with our noble mission of educating our children to prepare them for the opportunities of the future that will be life changing.”
