Impact Summary

Before we had a library it was difficult to find books to help me study, I am very happy that we now have a library that is helping me and my friends with school work. Most of the books that are in the Library are similar to the subjects we learn at school.

Impact Report

Our team in Kabwe supports children in several schools & we needed to set up a library. With 2 pallets of books from Books2Africa & 2 pallets from St Columba’s College , St Albans , we solved the problem.

The impact is simple. Our supported children have the chance to freely access both extra tuition books and normal reading books to widen their learning.

The comments by the pupils tell their own story. They are most grateful to have access to books both for learning and leisure reading.

We are not a school but a charity funding 500 pupils at various schools but with two homes of 32 children with the library in an outside building. All 500 children have access to the books.
